Play Dough Play Day

This stuff is a always a hit & so easy to make. We needed a change from from the lego overdrive that we've had going on at home lately. So Play Dough it was. Oldy but always a goody!

This is my favorite recipe:

Shortcut Cooked Play Dough

1 cup salt
2 cups plain flour
2 tbsp oil
4 tsp cream of tartar
2 cups of boiling water

Method: Combine ingredients (except water) in a bowl. Pour the boiling water & stir. Knead lightly on table top. This will store in an air-tight container in the fridge for months.

Check out the aprons! These too are tea towel aprons. Cute hey. Now you can see why I'm crazy for them. I never knew there was so many cute aprons out there.

I love playdough. It is endless hours of fun and worth any mess! I hope you were able to get a letter off to my dd13 in time for camp. I am wondering how long it will take coming from Australia. Thank you so much for being willing to support her. I am the RS meeting leader for my ward and would love to hear more about your "all things welfare" day. Sounds very intriguing..... I have a couple of other blogging buddies in Australia too. Do you know Nellimary from Just Like My Nan Made? She and I have a ton in common too. She might be a good resource for all things welfare also. Not sure if she is LDS but she is super handy.
Much love and thanks for the support.
