Does It Takes A Village To Raise a Child?
I've been thinking about this African Proverb lately and was going to write a blog entry on my feeling about the subject. Then I found this and it said it all!!! Nothing more to say.
Donna~ Your epilepsy post is going up this coming Sunday. If you want a "featured" button for your blog, just shoot us an email at ladies@oneshetwoshe.com.
Hilary Clinton wrote a book with that title. Now I really don't like that saying and her book was all about letting Government agencies in on the act!! I think NOT!!
On a macro level I agree with the button, but I want to tell you of another village. I live in Auckland city (on a macro level, not a great village either), but we are privileged to live next to amazing neighbours. Most of them are from the same extended family. Two families homeschooled their kids. These people are followers of Jesus and have taken us into their family. I'm proud to be part of this village who is helping us to raise our children.

Welcome to our homeschooling blog. Donna here and I'm a married Latter Day Saint mother of 6 (5 girls & 1 boy) ranging in age from 21 to 4 years of age. We're currently homeschooling our 3 youngest girls Jessica, Maddie & Lucy. This has been such a wonderful experience for our family so I thought I would share it with you. Since beginning this journey I've found other blogs have helped greatly in everything from routine to curriculum selection. So welcome to our little homeschool here in Australia.

You know how annoyed I am by that saying - love the button.
